Compassionate, Down-to-Earth Therapy

Hi, and thank you for taking that first step to look into additional support.

I firmly believe therapy should feel like a conversation with someone who genuinely cares—not a place where you feel judged or pressured to have everything figured out. My goal is to create a warm, down-to-earth environment where you can freely share what’s on your mind, process difficult experiences, and develop practical tools to move forward with confidence.

With over five years of experience in crisis intervention (working with 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) and mental health services, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals during some of their most difficult moments. These experiences have taught me a fundamental truth: real healing happens through genuine connection, deep compassion, and a therapeutic relationship built entirely on trust.

Because no two journeys are the same, I take an integrative and highly personalized approach to counseling. I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities and theories to align with your unique needs, goals, and strengths. Together, we will explore what is working, address where you feel stuck, and collaborate to create meaningful, sustainable change.

A Personalized Approach

I take an integrative and personalized approach to counseling, recognizing that no two individuals are the same. Rather than using a rigid formula, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities to meet your unique needs, goals, and strengths. Together, we will explore what is working, identify where you feel stuck, and create meaningful, lasting change.

All sessions are remote, fully secure, and guided by compassion, clarity, and a deep commitment to honoring your unique path. We meet you exactly where you are, offering flexible, modern ways to connect so that your mental health support fits seamlessly into your lifestyle.

How We Connect:

  • Video Sessions

    • Preserves Visual Nuance: Allows both therapist and client to read non-verbal cues, facial expressions, and body language, preserving the emotional richness of an in-person session.

    • Fosters Real-Time Connection: Provides the closest experience to traditional office therapy, making it ideal for building strong therapeutic rapport and deep processing.

    Video Game Assisted Therapy

    • Lowers Barriers to Engagement: Provides a comfortable, side-by-side interaction style that reduces the pressure of direct eye contact, especially for youth, neurodivergent clients, or those hesitant about therapy.

    • In-Vivo Skill Building: Serving as an interactive metaphor, shared gameplay allows clients to practice communication, emotional regulation, teamwork, and frustration tolerance in real time within a safe environment.

    Phone Sessions

    • Reduces Screen Fatigue: Removes the visual pressure of being on camera, allowing clients to focus entirely on listening and speaking.

    • Promotes Comfort and Focus: Enables movement—such as pacing or sitting in a relaxing environment—which can help process thoughts and reduce physical tension during intense conversations.

    Secure Chat

    • Encourages Thoughtful Expression: Gives clients time to carefully compose, read over, and edit their thoughts, making it valuable for those who process emotions better through writing.

    • Maximum Discretion & Accessibility: Offers a quiet, low-pressure alternative for clients in shared spaces who lack speech privacy or experience anxiety around live audio/video communication.
